Cynthia is a beautiful, young lady. Throughout her University days, she stood out in her academics and also had a great time in school. For her Youth Service (NYSC) she was posted to Abuja FCT. Luckily for her, her best friend Dolapo was also posted to Abuja. During the orientation camp, there were a lot of activities and trainings. You see, Cynthia had it all figured out.
As a graduate of Chemical Engineering plus her Uncles in high places, she was certain of a job with Shell Petroleum or Chevron and in the worst case scenario, with the smaller oil firms.

As for Dolapo, she just had faith something good would come up after her first degree. During the orientation camp and throughout the service year, Dolapo participated in every and any opportunity to gain skills and knowledge. From beauty care classes to slippers and bag making to cake baking trainings, she invested in them all.

Instead, Cynthia prepared her Curriculum Vitae (CV), forwarded it to all her friends and waited for the golden job from her Uncles.
Service year was over in no time! Cynthia was still praying for her helpers to remember her for a job. All the "Abuja big boys" were still promising.

 Cynthia is still unemployed.
Dolapo started her own business with next to nothing and already doing quite well. Though she's been getting job promises, having a business gives her more satisfaction than the prospective ‘better’ jobs.
